The cubic extension of the Lehmbruck Museum in Duisburg from the 1980s with its large air space and gallery floor was not suitable for the presentation of art and was therefore used as an art warehouse for many years.

The installation of 3 differently dimensioned walls, which are aligned with the outer cubic door of the building, creates new and clear spatial references.
